FeedDoctor Privacy and Temporary File Handling
FeedDoctor is operated under the ZONIXWAY brand. For general site contact and privacy information, see the existing ZONIXWAY privacy policy. This notice describes the FeedDoctor service specifically.
What the analyzer stores
When you upload a file, the application temporarily stores the original bytes, parsed product values, findings, selected changes and basic job metadata. The filename may be retained with the job so the interface can identify the upload. Files stay outside the public web directory. The service does not send product content to AI services or fetch the URLs in your catalog.
Access and retention
A random job ID and secret access key are required for private results and downloads. The key is held in page memory and is lost when you reload or close the page. This is not a user account. By default, access expires after 60 minutes and completed jobs are removed by a cleanup task running approximately every 30 seconds. Cleanup pauses while the service is stopped and runs again on startup. You can delete a completed analysis immediately.
Do not treat temporary storage as a permanent backup. The original download contains the bytes you uploaded; corrected files are separate exports. Infrastructure backups have their own retention and are not represented as immediate deletion from every possible copy.
Aggregate usage measurement
FeedDoctor counts page requests, upload starts, completed and failed analyses, fix attempts and corrected downloads. The measurement database stores only a UTC day, an allowed event name and a count, for a rolling 90-day period. It does not store IP addresses, visitor or job IDs, filenames, product values or authorization keys. Counts can include bots and repeated requests and are not unique-user measurements. No Google Analytics measurement ID is configured in this release.
Browser preferences and infrastructure logs
The browser may remember your chosen language and color theme locally. The analysis key is not saved there. Operational infrastructure logs may contain normal connection information; FeedDoctor does not intentionally log product file contents or secret access keys. Generic application failures may be logged without the uploaded data.
Your choices
Use only product data you are authorized to process. Delete the analysis when finished, download an authorized copy if needed, or contact ZONIXWAY using the contact details on the main website. No account, subscription or payment is required for the current public checker.
0.4.0 — Measurement and administrator security
Version 0.4.0 adds separate aggregate counts for user uploads and samples, product totals, duration totals, format and issue-code counts, and anonymous feature preferences. Opaque event digests prevent duplicate counting and expire after two days. They are not cross-visit visitor identifiers. A temporary page token for the preference form lasts one hour; no email waiting list is created. Private administrator sessions last at most eight hours with a 30-minute idle limit; login-attempt client addresses are HMAC-protected and removed after 15 minutes. Expired security records and counters are cleaned approximately every 30 seconds while the service runs. The panel contains aggregates and technical event categories, never uploaded product rows.

Messung und Administratorsicherheit
Version 0.4.0 zählt Benutzer-Uploads und Beispiele getrennt und speichert Produkt- und Dauersummen, Format- und Befundcodeanzahlen sowie anonyme Funktionspräferenzen. Undurchsichtige Ereignis-Digests verhindern Doppelzählungen und verfallen nach zwei Tagen; sie sind keine besuchsübergreifenden Besucherkennungen. Ein temporäres Seitentoken für die Umfrage gilt eine Stunde; es entsteht keine E-Mail-Warteliste. Private Administratorsitzungen gelten höchstens acht Stunden mit 30 Minuten Inaktivitätslimit. Clientadressen von Anmeldeversuchen werden per HMAC geschützt und nach 15 Minuten entfernt. Abgelaufene Sicherheitsdatensätze und Zähler werden während des Betriebs ungefähr alle 30 Sekunden bereinigt.
